Why We Built This
Most Indians check their bank balance but never analyze their spending. The data exists — every UPI transaction is in your bank statement — but it comes as a raw list of cryptic entries like UPI/ZOMATO@ICICI/Payment with no categories, no totals, no insights.
Financial apps that solve this usually require you to link your bank account, create an account, and hand over ongoing access to your transactions. We think that's a bad trade-off.
UPI Audit takes a different approach: upload one PDF, get your full breakdown instantly, and we forget everything the moment you close the tab. Your data never leaves your control.

How It Works
Download Your Statement
Download a PDF bank statement from your bank's app or netbanking. Works with HDFC, SBI, ICICI, Axis, and more.
Upload It Here
Drag and drop or select your PDF. It's processed in memory on our server — never written to disk, never stored.
Get Your Breakdown
See your spend by category and merchant, monthly trends, top merchants, and a shareable summary card — in seconds.
Our Privacy Commitment
No disk writes
Your PDF is held in server RAM only. It never touches the hard disk. When processing is done, it's garbage-collected.
No database storage
Results are passed directly to your browser in one request. There is no database on this server. Nothing is persisted.
No account required
No sign-up, no email, no phone number. We don't know who you are and we don't need to.
No third-party data sharing
Categorization happens locally on our server using rules-based matching — no transaction data is sent to any external API.
Rate-limited uploads
Uploads are rate-limited to 10 per hour per IP to protect the service and prevent abuse — not to track you.
Open architecture
All categorization is done using local keyword and pattern matching. No machine learning model, no cloud AI, no black box.
What We Do Collect
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized page-view data (pages visited, device type, country). This helps us understand how the tool is used. We also show Google AdSense ads in production to keep the service free. Neither of these has access to your bank statement content. You can read the full details in our Privacy Policy.
